Homemade Cough Syrup - Natural Home Remedies for Persistent Coughs

A very easy to make homemade cough syrup which requires two ingredients that can be bought at any grocery store, or you will more than likely already have in your cupboard. This is one of those natural remedies that your grandmother would have made for you… and it works a treat!!

Cough Syrup Recipe

Peel a 2 inch long piece of ginger and grate it using a fine grater (and remember to collect the pulp from the back of the grater).  Squeeze 1/2 teaspoon of juice from the grated ginger.  Mix with 1 teaspoon of honey.

You now have your own home made cough syrup which should be taken morning and night - A natural remedy that has no side effects and will not cause drowsiness.
